About the project
We have been creating visuals for DJ and producer Sander van Doorn for over ten years. For this latest package a different direction was taken toward a darker and more atmospheric tone, inspired in part by the mood of his recent releases.
The first step was a redesigned logo, a sleek, modern interpretation of his very first emblem. From there, we developed a full set of visuals in a black-and-white cyberpunk style with giant structures and a moody futuristic atmosphere, incorporating the new logo as a recurring element. This darker look ties in with our work for his alter ego Purple Haze, which shares a similar dark and atmospheric feel.
